We're excited to share that The NAMM Foundation is accepting applications for three award programs from April 15 through Sept. 9. These programs offer support to attend The NAMM Show for college students exploring careers in music, college faculty creating innovative music business curricula, and mid-career music business professionals striving for career advancement. 

Bernice Ash Memorial Award

The Bernice Ash Memorial Award provides mid-career professionals employed by a NAMM member company with a $5,000 award to use toward professional development. An optional $750 travel stipend is provided to attend The NAMM Show in Anaheim, CA, Jan. 21-25, 2025. Awardees are also provided with a one-year mentorship through the NAMM Young Professionals organization. The submission period will close Sept. 9. Selected applicants will be notified on Oct. 28.

Faculty Fellows Program

The NAMM Foundation-College Music Society Fellows Award Program seeks to support individuals who develop curricula related to business leadership and innovation in music, pro-audio, and event technology, and who are committed to helping their students carve out a path for a career in music. A $500 stipend is given each year to selected college and university music faculty. Funds must be used to help offset expenses to travel to The NAMM Show in Anaheim, CA, Jan. 21-25, 2025. The award also includes a complimentary NAMM Membership and a badge to the show. The submission period will close Sept. 9.  Selected applicants will be notified on Oct. 7.

Lamond GenNext Award

The Lamond GenNext Award honors college students who demonstrate excellence in the field of music (from performance to business to event technology, etc). A $750 stipend is awarded to help offset expenses to travel.  Award recipients participate in professional development sessions, networking, and special events, and have access to the tradeshow floor to explore music products, pro audio, and live event technology exhibits. The submission period will close Sept. 9. Selected applicants will be notified on Oct. 14.
